MarkVanDamme 0
Is there a website where I can type in the serial number of my CPU to find out the exact specs? I have looked on the AMD website, but I can't see anything. TIA Mark

MarkVanDamme 0
Thanks for that; but that means repeatedly installing and removing 3 CPU's. I was hoping for something I could just identify what I have got. THanks anyway
GreyHaired 0
You're looking for something like this? http://forums.extremeoverclocking.com/arch...p/t-125129.html you can find your stepping details with CPU-Z, a free util from www.cpuid.com.
MarkVanDamme 0
No, but thanks. What I meant was a sort of search facility similar to searching for acars details by typing in a number plate (license plate). I type in the serial number of the CPU and it comes back with "AMD ATHLON XP 2400" or similar.
firefly2442 0
What if you just put the serial # in google?
Dannik 43
This will probably help.
