VC2 and hosting a LAN server

Recommended Posts

OK, in VC1 multiplayer you could play on the internet or via LAN. In VC2 when you click on host server, there is no LAN option.

I have no other rigs attached to this one via LAN, I just wanna try out multiplayer by myself without going online everytime.

Could it be the port settings etc (which can be changed from within VC2)? See, I've noticed that when I play Quake 4 multiplayer on LAN, by default, comes up with port 2800, but in VC2 the port is set to 5000 by default. Or is it the local host IP setting? In VC2 the local host ISP is (by defualt) set at 0.0.0.0

So can you guys help me out? Please?
