firefly2442 0
Hey everyone. My friend and I are setting up a dedicated server (Linux) to run some games for the college that I go to. We thought it would be fun and we like networking and all that. Everyone will pretty much just connect from their dorm room to the IP address and play. So that part is easy. But finding games... that's harder. Right now I have Enemy Territory: True Combat mod as a dedicated server and BF2. Both are running very well on the Linux machine. Anyone have any other suggestions for more dedicated server games that would run on Linux or even free games that would run? Even demos wouldn't be that bad. I'm thinking free or demos because not everyone has BF2 and so on. Thanks.

firefly2442 0
Good idea. What if people have different levels of training though? Will that make some players better off than others? I've never actually play it over LAN before.
