Man, you women are boring ... never like to fight. pffft.

This next GDC is gonna be a real funny one ... I can't wait to announce it ... should have the winner announced tonight hopefully and we'll kick off this next GDC tomorrow

And, no, Steel, it's not underwater basket weaving. You scare me, by the way.

GDC All-Stars (??)

I've been toying around with the idea originally brought up by mordred ... I'm wondering what you guys thought of a GDC All-Stars ... for every 10th GDC, only those that have won in the 9 GDCs preceding it can enter ... this could get interesting, no?

Sounds interesting to me...just make it a shorter time period so everyone else gets to play again...or better yet...run the all-star and a normal GDC at the same time...

I was doing some research to make someone else a sig and came across some really cool images so I decided to make myself one instead ... so bad :(

[Edit] Man, wouldn't you just love to smoke a bowl with Sun Tzu and throw down on some Ghost Recon goodness?? He rocks.

Your qoute isn't a static text, not sure if you did that on purpose or not so I thought I let you know just in case :)

You make me want to pull out flash a play around. I havent worked with it since before the switch to Action Script 2.0. I got Flash8 sitting here staring at me too! Honestly Ive been avoiding it, all my books are out of date for the new version.

Avey inspired by chance?

Without taking away from your own achievement, Avey ... folks that have been here a while will recognize the sig from one way way way back when which had random Sun Tzu quotes and a samurai animation. I am also using the same cloud animation (although that prior sig would change from day to night depending on your computer's clock). :)

Just to give you happy campers a heads up, I'm thinking GDC VI will be a Christmas related theme ... culminating in a GDC Productions Christmas Special Slideshow not dissimilar to the Tribute to Soldier ... but more happy and chok full 'o yule tide goodness :santa::yes:

What say you, happy camper?

Well don't all get up at once ... sheesh!! :P

I did come across a great poem that I'm sure many of you are already familiar with ... Merry Christmas, My Friend ... the idea I had was to have a slideshow of Holiday-themed soldier images in the bcakground ... Carole of the Bells in the foreground ... and the poem being narrated throughout ... by the original author, Corporal Schmidt himself. How cool would that be???

I did manage to track down his email and sent him a cordial request for narration. I did show him our work with the Tribute to Soldier and tried to be as respectful of his time and privacy as I could. I'll let you know if anything comes of it.
