I'm new at kit art. Does anyone know how to view/edit the kit art? I have photshop and the RSB plug ins. But when I try to open it in photoshop, it comes out as 3 blank black and white boxes. I'm trying to open some kit art files and it just doesn't show. Any suggestions? Thank you.

What you are seeing are the RSB channels. What makes the kit art visible in game is the ALPHA channels. What you need to do, is click on the channels tab on toolbar on the left, then select the channel "alpha". Then it should turn red, and you should see white sillouhettes of the kit icons. Theres an excellent tutorial, which is exactly what you need.

If you have any problems or questions post back here or PM me.

Good Luck! :)

EDIT: i suppose i didnt really explain what an alpha channel is! It is a greyscale channel seperate from the colour chanels. What it does is sets the image transparancy. 100% white means 100% opacity of the image, and 100% black means 100% opacity. Inbetween is different levels of translucency.
