Archon MkIV 0
Hey. I'm having difficulties with my M4/M203 variations. For some odd reason, only half of the M203 model seems to apply, and the textures don't at all. Ike.log thinks the following of the matter... ***** User's system configuration ***** CPU: 275 RAM: 768 MB O/S: 4153 Ghost Recon (RELEASE) version = 1.4.0.0(0) HAL (hw vp): : Mac OS A1R5G5B5 TRC 0
Archon, use something like word--don't know mac's counterpart to open model file and make sure the rsb files named in model file are the same name exactly as rsb files in your texture folders that apply to your m4a1. The problem according to ike lies not in your gun file but the rsb file/files that go with your weapon model.
Archon MkIV 0
Yeah, I've had a look, and the .qob files says it uses "m4a1_m203.rsb", which is present in my Textures folder. It's really weird... what does the part about the .gun file signify? What does "RSGameStateMgr::ProcessMessage() duplicate state change request" mean? I wish it would be a bit less cryptic. Archon MkIV 0
... anyone?
GRT 0
You got a screenshot?
TRC 0
Ike makes no mention of your .gun file only rsb references. It refers to rsb file as gun.rsb. A .gun file lists weapon model in it, the model directs the game to the texture file. Did you add an alpha layer to the rsb file? If you want I can pm my email and you can send your qob file(model) and rsb file so I can look at it. Also, as stated by GRT, if you're able, post a screen, some folks can tell just by looking at that. I have no idea what end portion of ike log is.
Archon MkIV 0
Hmmm... k. I'll have another good look at it first, then I'll get back to you. Thanks for your offer.
