Sup
I played it on Xbox over a week ago. It's amazing. Combat's rather different. Everyone has less health, and the enemy AI's 100% new.
swartsz
have to agree with Sup! this should be a great addittion to the BiA franchise.

pz3
The ai imo is pretty bad. almost as bad as GRs
Suicide Commando
In the original or the demo Pro? The oringinal wasn't great but I hope what Sup said about the ai is an improvement.
pz3
BIA EIB demo the graphics look great, but the gameplay is kind of on the poor side IMO. Edited September 23, 2005 by Prozac360
KRP 56
BIA EIB demo the graphics look great, but the gameplay is kind of on the poor side IMO. ← Seems like that's the way it pans out with most of these newer PC games.
Sup
The ai imo is pretty bad. almost as bad as GRs ← On a unit level, you can argue that. But go to one of the more open fights and play around. Enemy squad AI is astoundingly good.
pz3
not really... its just a bit better then call of dutys ai was. but all in all pretty bad.... You gotta remember im spoiled by farcries AI, i want nothing less then that
Sup
A little something about the AI: http://xbox.gamespy.com/xbox/brothers-in-a...2/653487p1.html Well beyond Farcry. Just different.
pz3
while the enemi ai might be fun to play against, some times they do suprise you. like if u throw a grenade at em they will rush to you bunker and hide on the other side.... your friendly AI is almost as good as worthless imo. swartsz
well, i have the game here on my desk and HD and all i can say is wow. it really is a great new chapter in the Brothers in Arms story and believe me the demo is nothing compared to the full game. also something that is very cool to look at, HERE are loads of screens from the production progress of the game, really like the screenshots of the 3ds views of some of the models. Suicide Commando
I will probably pick it up in the next few days since I have a 5 day weekend. Looking forward to it. Where's this game taking place anyway?
swartsz
Also in Normandy like BiA1, you start playing on D-Day as Hartsock. and it is no easy task i can tell you.
Suicide Commando
Oh ok. Wish they would've expanded it to another campaign like Market Garden or in Bastogne during the Battle of the Bulge.
calius
Certainly better AI on enemies size. Good to see them counter you moves better. Still some dumb moments. Eye Candy is spot on. I purchased BIA when it came out and got bored too fast so returned it, even though they have updated AI its (in a way obviously) much of the same, if your into it then cool .. but it didnt grab me enough gameplay wise to rave about it. swartsz
for me not every game i buy and play has to be a hardcore tactical sim and BiA RtH30 and EiB fit that category perfectly. It looks great, gameplay is fun and a not too big learning curve for new players. One thing i also like a lot is the way the game tries to tell a story and tries to make you a part of that story. One thing it could have done without is the Band of Brothers style logos and splashscreens. have seen it too much now, also in other games. just my opinion..... KRP 56
Just played the demo a couple of days ago and liked it fairly well and I noticed it also had some other gameplay types in the skirmish mode (defend, objective, timed) other than the standard storyline mode and playing SP only that helps a lot.
