Dan
Out with the mini... in with the nano. Apple today announced that they are dropping the iPod mini from their product lineup and replacing it with a new product, the iPod nano. If we weren't supposed to eat the iPod shuffle, then we better make sure we don't accidently inhale the iPod nano, because it's a lot smaller. At first it looks like it's larger, but when carryring it around it's a lot nicer than a shuffle, as it's slim, not bulky, and slots nicely into your wallet. spearhead
i dont see the appeal of ipods, theyre expensive, ugly and nowhere near as gud as some of the mp3 players i sell at work.... just a kids hype
Recon
The official site seems to have the best info (inc. pencil pic). I think it looks great -- bit too expensive at the moment though (£179 for 4GB -- mini was £139 for 4GB).
The_Slink
Nano? Talking about battery life too, I guess....
Rocky
I watched the Apple movie where they introduced this thing last night, it does look remarkable. It has the pencil images in it - try this link.
Dannik
Nano? Talking about battery life too, I guess....← This is a solid state device, so no power sucking hard drive. I haven't compared the stats, but this should last longer on a full charge than the iPod Mini it's replacing.
magnumkp
It's a shame it's not a bit shorter so it would fit in the credit card slot in my wallet. Not that I would buy an iPod, unless they made serious changes.

Arms
Seriously are they trying to make things smaller and smaller and tempt us to buy more of this 'junk'??? http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=26801 Edited September 12, 2005 by Arms
