Colin 0
Will it be 64 Bit. Apparently yes which is good because I just spent a fortune on a 64 bit AMD system. So to find news, I did a google and came up with this video, its very good and explains a lot about Vista and how it works. If you are going to be usig this OS in the future take a look, its a good Vid. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en Colin

CR6 0
Nice vid. Thanks Colin There definitely will be both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows Vista. http://www.wired.com/news/infostructure/0,...w=wn_15techhead How will Windows Vista accommodate 64-bit applications? In addition to a 32-bit version, Microsoft says it will offer 64-bit versions of the operating system, sold separately or preinstalled on new 64-bit PCs and servers in the second half of 2006. But it will be a long while before a 64-bit system is needed to run modern applications.

I tried out the Windows XP 64 bit version on a spare drive yesterday. On the applications that run on it. its very fast all round, very smooth indeed. Most of my work I do is vid editing so at the moment not many programmes available, but I was very happy with the instal and running in basic applications. Will look forward to Windows Vista 64 Bit Edition. CR6 Colin
