I've been gone a while....

Recommended Posts

Hi all.

I've been gone a while and the "new" format has me confused.

I tried to download a weapons mod and got this screen that would let me send the mod to a freind & etc, but could not figure out how tyo actually download the file

Can any one help this semi-clueless GR player? :(:(

For info on why the downloads section changed, read this.

As for helping with the specific problem you are having, which mod is it exactly that you are trying to download? Since none of the mods are hosted here, the download links take you to third party sites, some of whom require you to be a registered member there in order to actually download the file(s).

I have read the why the format changed, UBI never liked this game very much did they?

I don't get the download button, just the two buttons that say "rate this" and "email this".

If I got the download button I wouldn't have asked the question.

The Mod was this one:

M_468_Weapon_Mod

You don't see the button shown in the image below, which is a screenshot of the page you were on?

I am afraid there is no rational explanation other than there is something wrong at your end. The download button is displayed using the exact same code as the two buttons you can see.

If there was a problem with the image, it would show up as a red x. The fact you see "nothing", indicates the page stopped loading early, or your browser has issues.

Sorry, there is nothing more I can do from here.

If you go to that download page again - is the button displayed now? If you put your mouse where the button should be, right click, and select "show image" does it then show?

Rocky,

Been Gone a while but, figured out the problem.

I have a "New" firewall program that stops the download button (only)

not to show up on screen. When disabled, the button shows up when I refresh the page. Seems pretty weird that the other buttons show up but not that button.

Hi

Thanks alot for this info, I will definately add it to the downloads FAQ, please let me know exactly which firewall/AV was causing the problem.
