They look cool, the standard Paintball gun is pretty ugly and very fake looking.

Fake? A traditional paintball gun isn't supposed to look like your standard M-16.

Exactly... A paintball gun really isnt a GUN, if you know what i mean. Yes it shoots .68 calibre projectiles, but at a rediculously slow speed, and they dont even hurt.... (IMO anyways..) Besides... Whats a non fake gun look like?

I don't see myself buying a paintball gun so that I can say "doesn't this look sooooooo kool?". Hell, I would hate to be travelling with one stored in a bag and have it searched...

Not to mention they look heavy. If I wanted more realism, I'd go with airsoft. If I wanted more fun, I'd go with paintball. :P

Actually thats why your not suppose to call it a "Paintball Gun", its a "Paintball Marker".

A traditional paintball gun should look something like ir3b.jpg

I played both and id actually say airsoft is more fun, paintball you run and hide..shoot, run for cover..shoot, repeat. While airsoft you can get close to eachother, i was bored with a friend and we went outside and ran around my dads SUV playing it, shooting over the roof..under the car.

I have never trid airsoft but i go paintballing quite a bit. The one thing i hate about paintballing is that everythings so damn expensive! The paintballs cost a fortune. So.... wht i do in my spare time is shoot mints out of my paintball MARKER (you can get a 3 lb bag for like 2 bucks) at squirrels
