XE_Joker 0 Posted August 8, 2005 Share Posted August 8, 2005 Hey guys. I need some weapons for an upcoming winter mod. The mod will be an addon for Frostbite or a standalone mod. It will have a few maps that are not seen often, and 1 fairly new map that is being retextured by the modder who put it together. Plus some other retextured maps that were done excellently. I am doing shins for winter, desert, and jungle. I have someone that will be doing a campaign for this mod. I have a teammate who is a graphics expert making some new splash screens. The weapons that I'd like are: P90 sd with a scope - for better zoom. XM8 and XM8 sd Unique Alpine TPG-1 - http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn70-e.htm HK MSG-90 - http://world.guns.ru/sniper/sn27-e.htm AR-10(t) HK G36k HK G36c HK USP .45 and HK USP .45 sd HK MG36 SA80 LSW I know that most of these have already been made. What I need is the original textured ones and winter textured ones. I know I had most of these in mods. But my computer crashed a week ago and I didn't have a recent mod folder backup and lost 7 Gb of mods. I'm on Dialup and fileplanet has screwed us all with their dumping of GR mods. SnowFella 8 Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 You are free to use the XM8 and XM8 SD from my XM8 armory, you would have to retexture them to winter camo yourself though as I wouldn't have time with it at the moment. I've also got a HK USP Expert in both normal and SD config that you can use if you want it. Now for models that I don't have exported as of yet. The P90...exactly what kinda scope are you looking at? I do have a P90 model but only with a non magnifying scope. Do have a variety of scopes made though that can be added easily. And I could possibly alter my L85A2 model into an L86A2 (SA80 LSW) model. There's only a problem of exporting the above models as I don't have the pluggins, or GR for that matter, installed any more. Know anyone really really reliable that could export them for you??? As for the P90's scope, I don't want to seem like a pest. But could you make this scope for it: Leupold Mark 4 CQ/T Scope <---Clicky That P90 model has got to be the best P90 model I have ever seen. Could I use that model, except with the Leupold scope on it? That would be so awesome. And as far as retexuring, I decided that maybe it's best to only put snow camo on the sniper rifles. SnowFella 8 Posted August 9, 2005 Share Posted August 9, 2005 OK, the P90 now has it's Leo CQ/T scope. Looks alittle funny as the scope is a good 22cm long and the P90 is only 50cm long. Alittle disclaimer too, the P90 is one of my later models while the CQ/T scope was among the first models I ever created (for the Ares Shrike mod) so the scope isn't really up to scratch when it comes to detail and texture. Time to fix up the L86A2, should only take me an hour or so to make the needed changes and texture the new parts. Snow Quote Link to post Share on other sites

XE_Joker 0 Posted August 10, 2005 Author Share Posted August 10, 2005 well it's one of my all time favorite guns. and unless it's used for a backup weapon, it's almost worthless for outdoors maps. which there are a lot of in this winter mod. i hate to keep asking for stuff, but maybe the P90 with and without the scope if it's not too much trouble??? this way it's covered on both sides, zoom and minimal zoom. qot a question. think the minimal zoom P90 would be a good backup weapon for a sniper? or is that not realistic? And here's the done up L86A2 (SA80 LSW) model. Took me alittle longer than expected to finish it as work has been nuts in the last few days. Alittle disclaimer though...it's way higher in polygon count than your normal GR weapons and might just lag out older systems. Snow Quote Link to post Share on other sites

As things are right now I doubt I'll get time install the software needed and again figure out how to export with it. Long time since I made models for GR. Hopefully somone else can help you with it.
