I don't mind waiting. Matter-of-fact, I consider myself rather patient.

But if your tweaking the thing to death while people are out here looking at other things to play, you may want to reconsider the 3-year project schedule.

May I ask what is left to work on?

graw was released early and unfinished and patched allong the way, not going down that path for centcom, nuff said.............. As i have said before you need not fear it will be released when its finished.

I'm happier playing 100% (glitch free) mods than beta mods. There is nothing worse than spending ages working through a mission for it to CTD or just go glitchy. Even when it's patched the momentum of the campaign is lost.

Go for it Jay316 - Make us proud! :D

You guys who are demanding it be reeased now, please be patient. All jay and his buddies have to do is say they decided to keep it to themselves due to the negative feedback they're getting on the release, and we all lose out. eskwaad did just that after the release of his awsome 1990 Delta Force mod due to the pressure to make or change things to what others wanted.

My two cents.

 Take your time. Cause if you were to release it unfinished you would have to change it's name it Centgraw. :P

I noticed there were 6 posts following my last.

One in some agreement.

The rest including the modder's comments in disagreement.

But my question remains unanswered. In 3 years. I would assume the maps are solid, the missions are scripted and in place. What is left? Skins, weapons?

well, from what i can gather it's in testing. and i think there are some sound type thing's to be done too. to be honest though, it's well worth the wait to have a completely finished and well thought out mod - other than something that doesnt quite deliver due to glitches and so on.

i think you guy's should take as long as it needs. i know it's gonna kick ass and i cant wait to crawl around shooting thing's!

keep on truckin.

Minor details.

I think I've made my point...you'll not hear from me again.

Good luck.

Well Blitzen, as PXS is helping out in the testing I think its safe to say it will be weeks rather than months.

Some missions are being tweaked, and some artwork is being done.

3 to 4 weeks is my guess.

All really depends on how much free time the people involved have to commit to modding more time = faster release, less free time = longer. you can have big problems fixed quickly if you have lots of time to work on it or you could have a small problem take a while to get fixed if busy with real life priorities.

Minor like...? A gun?...or other weapon adjustment?

Typically, 'minor' is a term applied to small problems, solved quickly and easily.

The more posts we need to answer here, the longer you wait.

Give them a chance, it will be a few weeks, I predict, from my side anyway.

While you wait!

As someone maybe has noticed (I really doubt it although) few months ago I left GR due to some personal reasons and the low interests my the community towards my mods.

However I can't keep myself to post my opinion:

Those who are complaing about the release are obviously not modders because if they were they would know that it's the last phase of the entire development of the mod (bugs fixing, mainly on scripts, polishing and final details) that is very time consuming.

Moreover please remember that a modding team is not a company like GRIN that is paid to make the game but that every single modder has his own life and duties (school, work). At the end please be respectfull of the work of modders and drop few lines to the author of the mod if you really enjoy their creations, remembar that they gave you some time of enjoyment free of charge.

@Jay: if you feel I cannibalize your topic please feel free to contact me and ask me to delete the post.

@Tinker: the link does not work
