Avey 0
The GUI is hot.
Specter 0
That GUI is a resource hog. Everyone said the XP GUI was hot. It sure was. So hot that it was a system drainer.
Avey 0
I'd rather have it look like that than Win 95 any day!
Ruin 17
Ohhhh.... sehxay.... Very cool indeed!
supasniper 0
i've always used the XP GUI over the classic win look, i much prefer the look and given my sys specs it has no noticable performance effects
Specter 0
I'd rather have it look like that than Win 95 any day! ← I would too. But when it comes down to brass tax, and not being able to afford an AMD64 or Dual core Pentium, and 2 GB of RAM, for me, the classic look wins out with the performance boost. Looks are nice. But not at the expense of performance.
Foxtrot360 0
I agree with Phantom.. I'll take Windows XP over Windows Vista anyway, sure it looks cool, but it wont be very nice when you try to play a game either lol.. Just having internet explorer in the background lags up ghost recon.. Theyres already programs to make the GUI better looking anyway (and even they lag lol)
GreyHaired 0
C'mon guys. "Hearts" and "Minesweeper" both getting a 3D face lift! Who of us can do without that ..........
Foxtrot360 0
Like i said , looks cool and all , but id probably have to upgrade to that AMD Athlon 5-5 64 FX an and 2 gb of ram to do anything... (dont forget the PCIe card and the K8T Neo mobo) But usre , id take it , or... get it ... but it would have to be free , plus., imagine all the damn Windows Security Leak Patches and Windows Service Packs LOL... I mean , they never even got XP straight.. Edited August 3, 2005 by Fragbox
SnowFella 8
Heck...who cares what the GUI looks like anyways????? All I care about is getting a bug free product that will run well, if I get that then it can look like DOS 6.2 for all I care!
Foxtrot360 0
Snowfella takes the win!
SAWmonger 0
Is it just me or do some of those slide look kind of Apple-ish?
Foxtrot360 0
I was thinking that too...
firefly2442 0
I wonder what happens to all the Windows XP games or even older than that? Some games I could get to run in XP with compatibility mode but others just didn't work. I wonder if there will be a compatibility mode for XP?
