Gatty 0
I had problems with Ghost Recon ( I also had DS and IT Loaded), so I uninstalled all of it and deleted it from the registry. When I went to re-load GR it installed fine, but when I went to run it, it flashed up the start up screen, then went back to desktop and came up with an error report (I'm using XP). I tried re-installing it about 4 times with the same thing. the disk is perfect, no scraches or marks Can anyone help???? Gatty
[Wx] Force 0
check your control panel for left-over's of the prior install,, Use the control panel to do your un-installing ,,deleting the folder's is not proper practice.
Gatty 0
I used the GR uninstall program first, then deleted any GR stuff from the Registry, then deleted any remaining folders. Is there anything that I'm missing, or is this the wrong way?? When I try to re-install, the start screen flashes up, then drops back to desktop with an error. Any help would be great Thanks
[Wx] Force 0
I'm don't know what you did in the registry ,,but I un-install quite abit and have never been inside the registry,,If your having alot of problems take a look at the ike file in the ghost recon folder and copy and paste the contents up here so we all can take a peek at it and narrow down the field for ya ,.hurry up now ,, "there is no hurry"j/k hey ::ah re-installing is quite simple ,,,here is how with no folder of red storm,, If by chance after you un-installed your game go and find the red storm folder and throw away what you don't want ,,say all of it ,,make a back -up of the xml's if ya want .. once the folder is deleted just insert the disk,,answer yes and click next and it should install in a xp os,.there is no need to shut down after each installation,, norton antivirus has some compatibility issues also... Gatty 0
When I re-install GR it won't start. I uninstalled all the components and anything relating to red storm or GR so there is nothing left on my system. When I install, then run it, the start up screen flashes up, then it goes back to desktop. I'm only new at this stuff and not sure what the problem is
