Max Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 I just bought both expansions. I didnt know where it should go and didnt seem like the expansion forum was very active. Once I install it will I still be able to play the normal game over the internet? Or will I HAVE to play the expansions? I can have both expansions installed at the same time, right? It says the old kits have been changed a little and no more binoclaurs (sp). Is that the same in the original game once I install it? Thanks... WhiteKnight77 Posted March 7, 2003 Share Posted March 7, 2003 OK once you install DS and IT, you can activate them just like Mods. You don't have to have them active if you don't want. Binoculars are now standard gear for all Ghosts and are accessed with the L button. Yes both expansion packs can be installed at the same time. Other mods are a different issue, some you will want to use all the time , some you will only use for a little while. Im not saying the mods are no good, Im just saying with DS an IT, the games pretty much good as is. Just my opinion, except for the AK47 thing, that is a fact. Anyone with 56k might as well buy Island Thunder since it already has the 1.3 patch. ( plus you get the game) Of course they could always wait about 2-4 hours downloading it.
