WhiteKnight77 1
Out of curiosty, is VC2 set in modern days or during the Vietnam War? This screen would have you believe the former from the looks of the M16A2 used for a weapon.

WhiteKnight77 1
Look again, round foregrips and not trangular ones. I have shot the A1 enough to know.
Hatchetforce 0
Look again, round foregrips and not trangular ones. I have shot the A1 enough to know. ← Here: CAR-15 Model AKA the 607 Commando Model The trailer even says Colt Commando http://world.guns.ru/assault/as50-e.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/XM177
Sup 0
Ah, it looked triangular to me. Sorry, it's probably how dark my monitor is.
WhiteKnight77 1
I hadn't seen the trailer, just the screens.
Hatchetforce 0
Ah, it looked triangular to me. Sorry, it's probably how dark my monitor is. ← It's not just you, that screen was hard to make out for me as well. I am traveling and using my laptop so all I could think of was "Damn, these guys must have a really good monitor and this LCD screen is screwing me." Be aware that the foregrip could be either one and still be historically accurate. Both were available on the early versions of the weapon system that was the CAR/XM177 series. If you are familar with the first title and the add-on, the Dev Team were notoriously ACCURATE about even simple matters of the SF experience. The Team took pains to relate small facts of life in an A-Camp and I can only applaud their efforts. The Team behind Elite Warriors could learn from the Pterodon guys. Proof that a knowledgeable game advisor is useless if his experiences cannot be related in the gameplay.
ChuckThunder 0
Looks like some Diggers in those screens. Perhaps SASR. I just watched the video, looks like the game is coming along well.
WytchDokta 6
Woot!! Does anyone know if you still get to reprise the role of the team you played part in the first title? I hope e do get to reprise the role agan, cuz if we don't I'm gonna miss Hornster and Nhut. All the pics of VC2 I've seen so far show either Victor Charlie or (what appears to be) standard US forces, I don't see no US SF in those pics. WD Edited July 20, 2005 by .:Nightmare:. WytchDokta 6
Also, what's the other rifle in there used by the US forces? Looks like an FN FAL (see the first pic, also the third pic, look to the left there is a guy with one) Drop the beats, WD Edited July 20, 2005 by .:Nightmare:.

WytchDokta 6
OH I see, that would explain the colour of the camo of the boonie the guy with the shotgun is wearing in one pic. WD
TheBlakeness (HotPants) 0
OH I see, that would explain the colour of the camo of the boonie the guy with the shotgun is wearing in one pic. WD ← No. The camo on the boonie of the guy holding the shotty is known as leopard print and sometimes duckhunter. It was worn by Special Forces early in the Vietnam campaign. It also explains the style of the "safari" boonie he is wearing with half the brim folded up. They were also occasionally worn by SF then. EDIT: Although..on further inspection, it almost looks like he is wearing the patch on his sleeve that was worn by Aussie forces. HMM..
