=US=PUNiSHER 0
Can someone tell me if ramps are done the same way stairs are with the shermanlevels and transitions? The Ghost Recon level builder only explains how to do stairs so I'm not sure if ramps are done the same way. I wanted to build a spiraling ramp structure similar to the ones on MP06 Castle and just wanted to know the correct way to build this.
deleyt 0
It can but it depends on the layout of your map. If you're planning to go underneath the ramp, then you'll need shermanlevels. When you're using shermanlevels, you need shermantransitions to go from one shermanlevel to the next. If you don't want to go underneath the ramp and you're not using multiple levels, then it's not necissary to use shermanlevels and transitions. A ramp is simply a floor in that case. element11 0
If you wanna make stairs, just make them 20cm rise, 30 run, and add sherman leves and transitions. Just check your IT cd for the level builder pdf and it tells you exactly how to do it. As D said, if your just making a ramp, you dont need any of that sherman transitions and such, just tag it as floor polygon and group with the room.
