slowsmack 0
After using the rsb file converter as told to in this tutorial here -->http://ghostrecon.net/html/reconcustomkit.htm, I'm getting the same error in photoshop 7.0 and C.S.(8.0)... could not open because the file format could not parse. Now mind you I've already installed RSB.8BI and RSBBitmap.8BI, from my desert siege disk as advised to in another GR.net tutorial or article somewhere. those and the 3d studio max plugins. Anyways ....I'm sure several of you pro's that have been doing this since before I knew what the heck ghost recon was, let alone thought of modding anything for it, will have been there and experienced and conquered the could not open because the file format could not parse error problem.. So can I get some love here and a nice sharp kick in the right direction???? Thanks ....
slowsmack 0
Maybe I didnt explain it very well. When the photoshop plugin is installed into photoshop/plugins folder, its just dropped copied from GR/DS disk and placed into the plugins folder correct? I just dont understand why it cant 'parse' the file format. anyone?
cobaka 0
Use the plugins from IT. The ones from the DS disk are old versions and don't work.
element11 0
Yeah i had the same problem with the rsbbitmap.8bi. You need the RSB.8BI off the IT CD and delete the other ones. That will work. All you do is copy and paste it into your /photoshop/plugin folder. Edited July 6, 2005 by element11
