WytchDokta 6
OMG, awesome sreens! Check screen 4, you can even see the veins in the guys hands! Is pic 5 meant to be Bronson? (er...hang, Bronson was the combat engineer/demolitions expert, not the machine gunner) I'd like to see more screens of "Fist Alpha", the US SF team you play in Vietcong. Lead the way Nhut!! Da, Trung-Si!

Hatchetforce 0
Cool find, HF! ← Guys, I am going to say this. Despite the AI issues, Vietcong is one of the best game efforts in years. First, there was an actual story. Your missions were historically accurate, the feel is right, and your AI team members have personality (You can't beat Hornster). The game was an experience, not simple a bunch of mindless levels pieced together. Why are we killing this guy? Okay, the briefing said so. None of that crap. The immersion factor was remarkable. The Dev Team did their homework on SF History, with which I am well acquainted. The mistakes were minor. Small things like saying the letters A-S-A-P, instead of pronouncing them as a word the way military people do by saying ASAP like you were talking aboiut your worthless brother in law. The guy is a sap. ASAP. Other than a few small issues they did a much underestimated job with the engine they had. Kudos to the team and VC2 is even with about 3 other games on my most wanted list right now.
Sup 0
I agree about VC1. It's a really worthwhile game, although it fell short in some respects. I really look foward to VC2
WytchDokta 6
Nenvermind Hornster, it's Nhut that really can't beat. Especially when he starts screaming things like: "COMMUNEEEEST PEEEEEGS!!" Even when playing on quick fight mode, it makes me laugh so much the things they come out with!! I am a really good player when I play the game (of all clases too, I'm not one sides I don't stick to one class. Sometime I play the role of pointman, sometimes sniper, etc whether I'm on MP or SP), and sometimes, I end up getting killed in game because I literally fall off the computer chair and onto the floor in fits of laughter. The game even has me literally rolling on the floor laughing sometimes too!! Gotta love it when Crocker screams "**** YOU!!" at the VC. When I'm playing quick fight with the whole team on and I get into quite a firefight, the first guys I call over to help will always be Hornster and Nhut. Just the over day, I was prone sniping in quickfight on the Storm map (I spent virtually all of time prone when I'm playing sniper), so I was crawling up a slight inclide to get a better shot on a contact I knew was ahead of me over the other side of the valley. He lines up... He shoots.... GOAL!! He scores.... but other nearby Vietcong troops heard the shot and opened up in my direction. I could tell by the sounds of the VC weapons, there was atleast one guy with an AK and one with a Degytarev firing in my general direction. Judging by the tracers, I was being shot at from several angles. Firstly I called over Hornster so he could lay down a withering hail of hot lead back at the VC. Then I backed out of there, still prone heading back down the incline into nearby cover. Then I called over Nhut to assist. "VC over dere!!" Edited July 9, 2005 by .:Nightmare:.
