Using voice recognition with VBS

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am using SHOOT (voice recognition program) to command my AI squad in VBS. I have been getting random crashes lately where my computer restarts itself and I get a system has just recovered from a serious error window. I looked at the dump file that windows produced after the crash, and it refers to audio problems, so I am sure that SHOOT is causing the crash. Has anyone had similar problems and found a solution?

Thanks for any replies.

Thank You Hatchetforce

That program sounds great, I am going to D/L the trial version now.

I think I figured out the crash problem. I overwrote my Voice.pbo with the voices from OFP, I think that was interfering with SHOOT. I reinstalled the 2.07 patch which addresses issues with crashes resulting from the OFP voices.

It hasn't crashed....... yet :shifty:
