Dan 0
Ive had a bit of an idea..... To start with, i use TS for alot of games, and one problem for me is that my mircophone comes with just one crappy head phone on it, which ruins the great sound effects inalot of games for me. What i was thinking, was if i put a 2nd souncard in my computer (im using onboard sound right now), would i be able to plug my headset into that , and tell TS to output through the 2nd card, and id use the onboard sound for my speakers. This way id have surround sound goodness, with TS only in one ear... Anyone know if this has been done/is doable? Would there be some kind of IRQ problem maybe? Cpl Ledanek 247
@Dan, is there a website for TS for Dummies. I'm giving this headset that came with BF2 a try. I d/l TS software, and using Wolf.gaming.net--something....I tried listening on games and nothing is happening. Is it the headset? If so, SOL for me. I really didn't care for it anyways. But it would be such a waste. During YAHOO IM it works for my wife's long distance chatting. thanks
WhiteKnight77 1
You can't use 2 sound cards. I tired that running front audio with my SoundStorm and SB Live! 5.1 card when I first got theis motherboard. I too wanted to use one for the mic and use the other for the speakers, but setting TS up for the mic in SoundStorm shuffled all sound to be sent through it instead of the sound card.
