pantera_team_a 0
Dear Gr.net community, Its been a while since ive really hit the forums but i have a good reason: Im in college... Im now taking a degree in computer animation in Toronto to become a film/game character/prop modeler and animator! I came here lately to see whats new and i thought to myself "you know, its because of these guys that i went to school for this! I should really say something!" Well im here to thank you all for the support and help throughout the last couple of years... I started playing GR and downloading mods years ago and then i heard about this site from a GR buddy and I came to take a peak... Im really glad i did... With all the tutorials and base images, friendly mods, helping members, words of support, constructive critisism, people to look up to, and awsome forum owner, friendly competiton and the occasional distraction from the humor board I have learned the use of 3dsm and the joys of 3d animation and modelling. I am now learning every aspect of MAYA 6 (the 3d prog they used for lord of the rings effects and Golem) Its AWSOME! I'm having a great time and i hope to get a good job in the film industry or in a local game company... Maybe you will see my work somewhere one day... Well i wish i could list every one who helped me but it would go on for ever... But one person i really want to thank is Rocky: cuz if it wasnt for him and his mods this forum wouldnt exist and i never would have gotten into this industry... So THANKS ALL! Hope to hear from you soon and maybe ill start a site to show you some of my stuff.... if anyone wants to host a couple of images i would appreciate it!

JTF-2 0
the TFS is a great place with a very good reputation. you should have great fun there. -Kensington market for cheap, GREAT food of all kinds. (near China town on Spadina) -Moonbean for coffee - also in Kensigton -Balzaks for coffee - in the Distillery district (east side, near the lakeshore) -Rotate This and Soundscapes if you're into records. -Bloor and Spadina (west of Spadina) - great neighbourhood (i'm biased, 'cause it's where i live) -Queen street for coolness -stay away from the malls! any good spots i should know about? PS: crappy weather eh? i work at outside all day at a camp, 33C today! ew.
