slowsmack 0
I need advice on making a mappack of my own liking and one that me and my clan members can use running the maps we like the most. That is granted, if permission is previously obtained and consent is freely given to make this private mappack. It cant be too hard as you've got jackers like the sk-clan snatching up every map they can find and wrapping it up with a few minor details they've added here and/or there. Whats the process for discecting an already made mod of its desired maps, adding it to your own master list of MP maps, and then once all maps are gathered and permissions too, does a aspiring mappacker bundle these into an exe file ?? Thats not too much too ask is it? Being able to forge your own mappacks with some of the truely inspiring maps you modders make? 1.discecting exe mod for its maps. 2.compiling it into what program or format before finally... 3.wrapping these maps with what software to get an exe mappack with idiotproof installer included?? Thanks for anyone who sees what i'm trying to do and helps me. I'd never add someones map that they modded and spent countless hours on , without their expressed permission and giving them full credit in the readme file. Plus I dont want to make a SK-CLAN type mappack in the way that it wont be mass distributed. Only to my clan and of course to those who helped me in any way and the maps original makers...maybe. . no of course them too.

GRT 0
Installer-http://www.ghostrecon.net/html/installer-guide.htm Youll need to put the map folders and mission files in a new mod which you can create using Igor, click file/mods/new mod. Test it out and then package it.
