Me again,

This is what I have and the prob I have,

Sun ultra1 creator. I have linux OS installed(open 'BSD'(Woody)SPARC). I wish to run GR on it it, But posted here weeks ago and -feedback- is that there is no 'Flavour' of 'GR' for linux 'OS',and not one in the pipe. However I wish to run it on a 'sun' box and that cannot run 'win'. However is there some kind of emulator for windows that i can run ontop of linux 'OS', Using no partitions. Then I can run GR. This is just a hobbiest mucking arround. I just wanna see if it runs better than an 'intel' cpu based machine. While I am at it I can take use the other benefits of a 'sun' box's hardware capabilites. Processing !!!!!!

Can't you get an emulator that would run windows so you can play GR? Or maybe have a dual partition and dual boot system so you can switch between BSD and Windows? :)

I would have to agree doing it this way...even if you run an emulator...you're going to take a performance hit (even if just minor)

It's very easy to setup dual boot...and then you can use MS for games and Linux for everything else...

Sorry man windows will not even go on a sun SPARC with a dual boot. Its can't be done. Emmulator like you say . May research WINE.
