CR6 0
If you play your first-person tactical shooters like arcade games, you're missing most of the fun. SimHQ has published an outstanding article by Chuck "Magnum MGG" Ankenbauer (who has had 20 years total service in the U.S. Army and in civilian law enforcement) who tells us how to play using real world tactics to get the most out of tactical sims Ghost Recon, SWAT 4 and America's Army. http://www.simhq.com/_land/fps_021a.html
Parabellum 12
I agree to a point, I guess. The things that really make 'tactics' work aren't really the tactics at all. Not only that, but the 'tactics' that are simulated are so dumbed down from real world techniques that it's almost a falsehood to say that someone uses real-world tactics, IMHO. Zebb 7
In the end it comes down to how the people around you in your squad play, theres no point doing all this if your the only one..

I think the article is meant for those who like co-op play.
pz3 338
all i got to say.... me and 3 other team m8s played raven shield using some swat tactics (basic ones) like learned room clearing and how to clear hallways and clear corners .... etc.... when you have 4 guys go into a room with 6 guys and literally have have them all poiting in your direction and taking all of them out... it certainly is a blast and one for the other players to ponder how good you work together. It is very nice to see the comments they make like calling you a cheater or compliminting you on the amount of team work you use. definitly worth it in the adversial aspect of gaming. cdnsniper 0
Yeah, I remember doing this with another guy in AA on arctic. I tell ya, it worked a hell of a lot better then going by it yourself.
