2nd Ranger
Sanctuary has been at it yet again. Sanctuary has released his DMA Animation Pack, on the BI Forums. The pack comes in 2 serperate versions, Patrol and Classic. Classic version for the ones who want the classic "weapon on back" animation, and Patrol version for the ones who want the "weapon on back" animation replaced by a "patrol" stance. What's changed you ask? * Broken back and spine repaired for all the addons and default units in all animations * Weapons in a lower position to have their stock in the shoulder and not in the cheek * Scoped weapon not always above the head but more near to the eye level * -Weapon losing polygons in 1st person view corrected for most of all addons weapons Different feeling as most of all was restarted from scratch * Lots of "not from scratch" animations tweaked for a better visual result http://ofp.gamezone.cz/index.php?showthis=8499 I tried them quickly yesterday - They're nice and fluid and realistic, although curiously he didn't fix the AI's low ready stance, in which their weapons stick through their thighs. Orbarth
They're nice and fluid and realistic, although curiously he didn't fix the AI's low ready stance, in which their weapons stick through their thighs. There are 2 alternatives for this AI ready stance : a more "combat" one in which the AI seems more ready to fight and less relaxed (the best of the two in my opinion) , and a more "take cover" oriented in which the AI is crouching instead of standing. Those 2 alternatives can be found on that page http://www.flashpoint1985.com/cgi-bin/ikon...;t=43428;st=390 They are made with this DMA animation pack in mind and are not affected by some weapon bipods going through the leg for the AI ready stance. 2nd Ranger
Oh cool, that looks much better, thanks. EDIT I like the 'crouch ready' stance very much. Apart from looking awesome, it at least reduces the AI's chances of getting shot.
