NYR_32 6
There is no R6 section because this stuff goes on AGR-S.com. I already have a post up directing people to check the news there, so the threads have been merged.
Suicide Commando 0
Wow, that was kind of unexpected. Guess I'll be re-installing RvS and the first expansion. Edited June 10, 2005 by Suicide Commando
GRT 0
It says it requires a key for fileplanet. Whats that mean?
NYR_32 6
You need an Iron Wrath CD-Key to play online LOL. Hopefully that wil get sorted shortly. But SP works no problems.
Suicide Commando 0
Not sure, you can dl it though. Prolly asks for one during install. Estimated 2 days on my 56k modem though.
JTF-2 0
hmmm, getting it now just in case i can get it to work with original RvS cd key. THANK YOU UBI. it is a nice gesture.
CR6 0
Wow, this certainly is great news!! I was actually just thinking about Iron Wrath the other day, and assumed it had been cancelled since R6-4: Lockdown is just around the corner. How many people here find it ironic (for lack of a better word that I can't think of right now) that there was such a big uproar over the lack of news and subsequent cancellation of GR2 PC, but almost absolutely no fuss about Raven Shield Mission Pack #2 (a.k.a Iron Wrath) being a no-show after it was first revealed to exist last August (discovered by AGR-S of course ) Was it because there was a big drop in interest about RvS since last year? Is Ubi releasing it free since they figure there's no point putting any money into packaging it as they doubt it will move many copies? In any case, I sure ain't complaining right now

Snake@War 0
A FREE expansion pack from UBI!!!! My faith in them has just had a great leap! This was VERY nice, UBI. I guess we deserve it for not bombing you. Perhaps there will be a mod kit.... Probably not. Edited June 10, 2005 by Snake@War

In any case, I sure ain't complaining right now ← I would say you are right. Interest in RvS and other Rainbow sequels is in short supply. Ubi really erred with it. Maybe they are trying to atone for their sins. We know that the returned R6 to the studios that started it all. Hopefully, they allowed RSE to work their magic there way. I don't think many would want to buy it if were packaged and put on the shelf. I think they knew people wouldn't buy it. I will say this. Hopefully, RvS was a wakeup call for Ubi where it concerns games from RSE. Just imagine the uproar if aonther RSE franchise ends up like RvS. That's a discussion for another time though. TRC 0
Wonder why my feet felt cold, always thought it'd be a cold day in "heck" before UBI did anything of generous nature for it's customers. I find this most interesting. I'm glad in my disgust at lack of support for orig RVS I didn't trade off my cd. Time to reinstall.

People just got fed up with the whole thing after awhile. Edited June 11, 2005 by Suicide Commando
Snake@War 0
Get your CD-Key here. Unreal Ed. has all the functions available now? Is this our new SDK? Can someone verify this for me? Edited June 11, 2005 by Snake@War
KRP 56 92
Great news but big problem in getting it. 56k at home would take forever not to mention getting cut off. Work has cable but no way to transfer 997 mbs of info to my house since all we have are CD burners. Any ideas or helpful members with DVD burner willing to burn me a copy? Will pay for trouble of course.
firefly2442 0
Do you have a USB thumb drive or anything?
Snake@War 0
1: DL and install WinRar. 2: Dl Iron Wrath and compress into volumes. 650mb sections. 3: Write onto 2 Cd's. 4: Copy the archives onto you HDD. 5: Extract part 1. (Pt. 2 will extract automatically) 6: Install Iron Wrath and play. Took me a while to figure it out. Edited June 11, 2005 by Snake@War

Cpl Ledanek 247
See, this is why I bought that 1GB Lexar USB2 Flash memory. Ever since, the mods here got bigger and bigger, I didn't want to go halfway. I started at 256, then I said I'll get the 512. Then I saw a special on it, that's when I signed up for overtime at work and ordered USB2 Flash the very same night. the EXE file which I d/l would not fit to the 1GB (don't know why) but when I d/l Winzip (trial) and zipped the EXE file, it transferred to the USB Flash memory no problem. Well, I'm still at work so I wouldn't know. Before I burn anything I d/l from here on GR.NET or anywhere, I usually keep them in their unzip, rar state, saves space on CD-R. Majority of my d/l now I've slowly transferred to DVD-R, in unzipped state. Hope that helped someone. accdg to Pricegrabber just in case, again Edited June 14, 2005 by Cpl Ledanek
