Stalker_Zero 0
I have a pIII 600mhz 512mb ram and a gforce2 card. I also have a high speed cable connection. I usually am able to host about 26 or so players before lag sets in. And I've never had a problem before. Now the last couple of days I've noticed as soon as a multiplayer siege game launches I get a crash. The mission starts fine but give it about a minute and I get a crash. I even got a crash with just hosting 4 people! Now I know the difference of a crash from too many players or tons of nades going off but this is different. So now I cannot host anymore. Has anybody had any weird crashes lately? Its not ubi because i've experienced this with ip only games and the same thing happens. I've been hosting over a year and this is the first time I've experienced this type of problem. I am going to try and reinstall and see if that helps but I don't know. What do you think? Has anything been happening weird lately with you guys when you host?
WhiteKnight77 1
Is anyone running a mod that you aren't? That could cause yoru game to crash when the person uses a weapon from a mod that you do not have running.

Tehranx 0
Is anyone running a mod that you aren't? That could cause yoru game to crash when the person uses a weapon from a mod that you do not have running. I did not think it mattered what mods the player had running as long as they had at minimum the ones that the server/host has? Nonetheless, my group has been experiencing similiar 'crashes' with our games recently, we think we tracked it down to an incompatibility issure with HX4 Hell-o-pak as far as the limited ammo install versus some other mods that increase ammo. If you have this it might be something to look at. Our Dell server has a 1.8ghz processor and 1GB of ram and still crashes. Good luck to ya.
Stalker_Zero 0
I have been able to connect to others with no problem. We talk in the ingame setup screen prior to a mission launch with no problems. When we launch and play for several seconds then the crashes started. I did recently change a sound file listing in a .gun file in a equip folder of the mod we all use. But as you all know when u make such a change as a host the change perpetuates to all the players. The other players was able to use the new sound file. Do you think that could be it?
