I graduated yesterday, so of course the parental units/family wants to know what I want. For some reason they didnt like the idea of a ram air hood and cold air intake on my car, making it even faster...

So, I guess I'll go with a laptop. I want to keep the price under $1,800, but under $1,700 would be even better. Requirements are at least 512MB of RAM, a 40+ Gig HDD that runs at 7,200 RPMs, not Celeron or Sempron crap. I also dont want a monitor over 15.4" and good battery life would be nice. (2+ hours.) So, does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm looking at this. My Best Buy is offering a $250 MIR so I consider this a hot deal.
