For some reason they didnt like the idea of a ram air hood and cold air intake on my car, making it even faster... So, I guess I'll go with a laptop. I want to keep the price under $1,800, but under $1,700 would be even better. Requirements are at least 512MB of RAM, a 40+ Gig HDD that runs at 7,200 RPMs, not Celeron or Sempron crap. I also dont want a monitor over 15.4" and good battery life would be nice. (2+ hours.) So, does anyone have any suggestions? I'm looking at this. the.ronin 5 Posted June 3, 2005 Share Posted June 3, 2005 ive got an older vaio r505gl refitted with w2kpro ... takin a lot of lickin but keeps on tickin. it rocks. battery life sucks ... and extra battery is about as much as another laptop ... might be different for the newer models. google up some reviews.
