Coda A27 0
I just recently got back into Ghost Recon after I got tired of the Quake-like play of Medal of Honor. It was very nice to alternate between the two types of FPSs. Unfortunately I loaned DESERT SIEGE to my friend, and had only GHOST RECON and ISLAND THUNDER with me. Not having mp1 made me miss out on lots of servers So, eventually, I got it back. I installed DS but, forgetting at that moment that I could've changed the Mod Order (d'oh!) I thought I installed it in the wrong order. So, I begin uninstall. Except ... it doesn't quite work. I don't see it deleting any files, and it says it finishes. I still see the program in the ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMs in CP. A bit stumped, I take my irritation out on it by just deleting the folder. I can't quite remember, but either the computer went reaaally slowly or it froze, so I rebooted after it. I rationalized I would install it again, making the point of removing it moot. Here comes the odd part: Now, whenever I install Desert Siege (Autorun) it only gives me the option to UN-install. I tried installing GR, and then properly removing it (Add/Remove, or Norton CleanSweep) several times. It's really gone. But Desert Siege autorun and Setup.exe thinks I already have DS, even when I just did a clean install of Ghost Recon. So, after an hour or two of this, I just installed Ghost Recon and Island Thunder again, along with Fort Chaos and DAGRM4.8. Does anyone know how I can get Desert Siege to install again? Rocky 1,224
You are going to have to uninstall it manually. Instructions are in the RECON section.

WOLFAnubis 0
its not that simple. there is also one hidden registry key within the reg. Plus i only reccomend that experienced people use the regedit feature as it may cause adverse effects if you delete the wrong keys and may cause your computer to become inoperable. I would use a registry cleaner application. you can find them all over the net. but here is the step by step break down of what to do in the registry if you need to do. Coda A27 0
Too late Wolf ... it worked I uninstalled Ghost Recon (for what seened the nth time today), went into regedit, and deleted everything under the sun under Red Storm Entertainment (essentiall what WNxSkell advocated). Loaded up DS, and the thing wants to install again. Just to make sure though, I checked RegEdit for the other things to delete as told by Ubi.com Customer Service, but oddly enough those things weren't there. *shrugs* Thanks again!
