hey good to see ya around SC! we're plugging along....

@ Lightspeed...forgot to answer your query bout maps...let's say there are three unplayed maps since Phlookian has given Blue Ivan such an expansion and additional dynamic content that it is much different than you may remember......

we will get er done and released, heck we gotta finish up here and get busy with Blood Oil......meantime, here's another peek at Phlookian's Bridge map, still under construction getting some dynamic surprises set and we're still undecided whether to leave the ground cover and veggies as is or add some greater degree of snow cover....once finished and a script completed, we'll be down to story line writing, campaign set up, testing, and perhaps adding a few more new weapons, eh natasnwa? Guessing ingeloop will have some more new POW types done by then as well...and there is the matter of some MP action for the new terrain....

Sorry I've been dragging my feet a little here, Mig has an earlier version of the map (now nearly finished), I just have a few (fairly complex) dynamic objects to work on.

Unfortunately my work commitments have pretty much stopped my modding output for the last couple of months or more. I hope to pick up the slack as soon as possible

As Mig hinted I am planning to work on an altered version which will be more suited to MP play and will hopefully be released in the P2 package for modders such as yourself to work on

no need for apologies here Phlookian, you've done so much great stuff for this mod...its amazing really...I get to see just how much everytime I scroll through a list of vehicles or stationary guns or run around on one of your maps..the time for modding will come...

update - completed mission on Mountain - timed obj to disarm explosives planted on some pipline structures across the map....don't know if I'll finish it, but started playing around wth one on RSE Farm day...starts out with player trapped upstairs in the farm house by two T80UDs from Blak's OPFOR pack...player must keep a flight recorder from the crashed plane safe from enemy hands, there are a few Russian spec ops on site to assist you with those pesky rebel tanks....but...

and here is a new chr skin from Ingeloop.....

another UN guy on the way and maybe a couple of POWs...could be as many as 5 new POWs though four would be winter camo and the other a Russian pilot...

the weapon he has is a f2000 tactical by nat, who tells me he is adding a sniper rifle real soon...

hmmmm lets see -

4 new Russian officers from Captain to General in Dress Unis.....

4 new Russian field grade officers in winter field garb with unit patches for Alfa, Rockets Arty, Rockets Air Defense, and MI Recon(two versions of him, only diff being an attachment thanks to good ole cobaka...hint - I call him Snoopy)

3 new Alfa Group operators in one of their blue camos...and one of the above field officers is an Alfa Captain...

2 Russian operators in arctic woodland camo, no unit designations at this time....

2 POWs in the arctic woodland garb...

1 injured Russian pilot/POW.....

1 UN guy(see above) and one on the way...possibly two more POWs in UN garb....

one of Earl's chrs in blue camo with black blacava and sleeves has been modded into a specialist from the fast reaction unit - SAVE...three others of his may become specialists too..or the above mentioned Alfa guys

one of the org GR chrs in blue camo has been modded into a MI Recon chr......

the m14 snipers have been given a winter camo...facsimile of Oboroten..watch for the possibility of something new along the werewolf camo lines though...

and several of ingeloop's chrs from the MVD mod have been turned into rebels.....wearing winter Klyaska(sp?) blotched camo.... representing all 4 [GR] classes...these are mixed in with the Frostbite opfor chrs in most missions...chances are if ya see them or especially the Alfa types..something going on there...and probably a GAZ Vodnik or worse nearby...

thats all I can think of off the top...of course the Ghosts have been given new skins and most of the specialists too...like CC's winter Jodit...or Henry Ramirez in one of ita-killabee's winter camos...perhpas the Jodit thing should have been for other specialists too?

the camo is just an experimental arctic digital camo.

9 out of 10 arctic camos are white really, but it could be nice to have

another type of camo.

Migryder has the final descision though.

things are still progressing but at a slow rate....this is a good time to say sorry to those who voted this the most anticipated mod for 07 and those who simply want to hurry and get into a frosty conflict, not much chance of getting it out by New Years Eve, but we will work diligently to get it done as soon as our talents and RL priority issues will allow...

I will state that I have a few .GUN files to create at this time.... :yes: Maybe more to do on the horizon... :)
