migryder
Grand dommage???? I'm dumb. Me likes mts, but yes, I prefer cloud forest over glaciers. Its reading like there is some great thunder coming down for those long suffering for a frosty fight. As I informed KRP56 via email I've been feeling a scripting pang or two lately and will also try to put together a small mission pack if I can get permission. After mostly just playing new games for a year I've been working for 3 weeks on a personal Super Duper GR weapons mod so I can have what I want to have on just about any terrian or for any fight and it has become a monster. I'll be packing it with my fav missions from whatever and I'll be good to go! Anyway, I'm almost satisfied with it - Well JEEZ!! I just lost a dl connection at FilePlanet, so maybe I'm not! Anyway, I'm busy with that right now and its hard to get anything else done if your mountain climbing in Paradise(he he). mig Edited May 5, 2005 by migryder

You could master some missions that would make all your fans feel a cold rush of impending doom on the Frostbite maps.
OSO
if i can get permission from the creators, ← You don't need permission from the creators of Frostbite to make mods that require Frostbite installed to run.
X69RZX
I am still working on my little campaign mod for Frostbite as well. It will be done before too long, and as it progresses, I will start a lil thread about it. Expect about ten missions, I prolly won't use all the maps because of the story line, who knows yet. migryder
El Oso - I thought about that this evening as I was running around on one of your maps looking for inspiration, but when I got tp the Keep I later had a thought that might require permission or be more user freindly to do with permission to use the map and some stuff from another mod. I was moving down a hallway and thought all I need now is for two or three of those nasty little biting skeletons to come around the corner rushing me! Too much PainKiller? Then I thought - hey you could use the skeleton soilders from UnReal Recon and have them haunting the place! With weapons! Not what everybody is looking for in a GR mission but might be good for kicks. Shelve until Halloween. Of course there is always Castle Keep! That one should have a classic VW running around in circles out front, I guess a modder could use materials from WoI for that and make it really Castle Keep - An eyepatch wearing Burt Lancaster specialist would be funny! Oh well - back to running around looking for that inspiration again. mig

migryder
Ok been playing n replaying n messing around with PC game after PC game since May - now I'm back. mod - Pressure II - requires DS, IT, AND Frostbite 1.3, Started with Fb 1.3 and Org missions only, but I want to give some IT kits to the OPFOR and may use a pick up or something from DS.. Status - very early in construction scene 1 - map - Blue_Ghost - The motor pool is under attack! T80 and BMP with infantry support... allied personnel have some AT4s on site, but you better bring some along brother.... the OPFOR may come from several flanks - their primary mission - capture comm site. Mission - Sound Bite Once I get going ithe work picks up a flow - ask KRP 56 - but I work n rework scenarios til I'm pleased with the timing and flow, I want there to be a possibility that a tank may get killed or it may do the killing. Then he gets it to test all that from a player's prespective. I'm considering having the action start from a flank determined by a random generator. mig

migryder
I'm unable to give you a definite answer gulf01, but I'm working hard on this first mission. I was almost ready to give it up last night after I tried and tried to get rid of a strange CTD that kept happening every now and then. Just be glad I keep going back and replaying a scene over n over so stuff like that might show up before I get it out to you. That is before the tester(s) even get it, and I bet I know who is happy 'bout that. I had two m113s at the motorpool that were cool but seem to have been a problem since an IKE message kept having a statement about an associated file, anyway - I've gone to Bradley vehcles and it seems to be working well enough that I have moved on to other stuff - I deleted some scripted stuff that I was happy about at one time in an attempt to get at the problem. I was able to replace one and may go back now and see if the rest will also work ok. Lets just say that one deleted item was a guy trying to get back to the motorpool on his snowmobile - having a need to outrun an RPG! Other stuff had to with hide and show that can be tricky at times. I had to create a test where a T80 destroyed a snowmobile cuz I thought that might be it, killing the sled as collateral damage that is - well that was not the case. bottom line - I don't even know how many missions it will take, what usually looks like 5 turns to 10 quickly. Heck I don't have a story line yet - just combat - oh well guess I better story board some. feel free to make suggestions along those lines. mig

migryder
update - After taking time out to script a couple of missions for CENTCOM and playing several of the new releases like F.E.A.R. and GUN I've managed to get three missions done for this mod. The maps are Blue Ghost, Radar_base, and Airport. I'm going to do another one on Blue Ghost, but I'm going to work on Underground Facility right now. Thanks to Earl these will not be your average OPFOR. Look for teams equiped with silenced weapons throughout, including some of the snipers. Some of Blakarion's vehs will show up also. mig Edited December 16, 2005 by migryder
