Dick Splash 23
This is great news. The Winner of 'Best Original Game' and 'Best Simulation Game' at E3's 2003 Show, gets a sequal. Once again those clever people at Pandemic Studios bring us some top gaming eye candy. Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers Announced THQ announced today that Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is in development. The game will feature the same modern-tactical warfare of the first Full Spectrum Warrior and include player-controlled coalition forces, mechanized units and enhanced character abilities, along with improved enemy A.I. Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers will also have an enhanced multiplayer mode, which includes head-to-head and co-op objective-based missions. "The critical acclaim, commercial success and fan base for the Full Spectrum Warrior brand continues to grow, with the game reaching Platinum status on Xbox and the recent launch of the PlayStation 2 game," said Peter Dille, senior vice president, worldwide marketing, THQ. "Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers is expected to have a simultaneous launch across all platforms, taking the brand to the next level with enhanced gameplay and intense online features." "We're proud of the technological and design innovation that has fueled the success of the Full Spectrum Warrior brand," added Pandemic Studios CEO Andrew Goldman. "Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers will build on that innovation with features such as interior environments, sniper units, player-controlled mechanized vehicles, and a robust multiplayer experience, all while maintaining the authenticity of infantry squad command." Full Spectrum Warrior: Ten Hammers will release late 2005 on PS2, PC and Xbox. I actually got an XBox on the strength of FSW's release last July and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's nice to see there'll be more MP capability than FSW, and hopefully THQ will have this and 'Destroy All Humans' on show at E3 this month. Interesting that it's not being developed for next-gen!
