My DS missions can show up as unlocked but will crash at the transfer to the soldier load up page. I have deleted all xml files in quick missions, played mo1 in Campaign and gone back to play it in quick - it worked. Tried the same with DS and after completing D01 - tried to play it as quick and it crashed! Prior to deleting them the IT missions all worked too, have not gotten there yet. I recently upgraded to DirectX 9.07 while installing Splinter Cell. Thats about the time this crap started, but I do download alot of mods too. BTW - thanks for all you guys do. My girlyfriend says that sometimes if u upgrade something like that u need to upgrade things like ActiveX as well for some things to keep working? HELP! I've tried some other things to, uninstall GR,DS and IT for example. I'm aware of the looonnnggg solution posted elsewhere, but my maps do work in MP Team as he suggested to try. Only quick stuff crashes!

Hmm, that is a strange one, and I think this is a problem I had a while ago with GR myself, but like you I uninstalled everything and it was problem solved for me.

In fact if I remember rightly, it appeared to be all the different mods that I had installed on my system that seemed to cause the problems I was having. Maybe this is something you may want to try.

Thanks for replying Cobblers,

I am at that point now, may as well uninstall everything, including 3rdP mods and see what happens this time. So many mods to choose from, but I will be much more selective in how many I have in the available box.

HEY GANG

A complete uninstall as propsed thru the Platoon site did fix my DS quickies. I did not check every map cause I knew they were working. I've unlocked the 8 missions via campaign and they work, or I prob coulda written them that way if I knew what i was really doing with xml files ;):stupid: .
