Hatchetforce 0
Something to woot about. Vietcong on the PC had it's issues, but it remains a great and COMPLETE gaming experience. Not to mention more accuracy than ANY OTHER VIETNAM TITLE. http://www.shacknews.com/docs/press/042905_vietcong2.x

Old_Geezer 0
VC was a hoot, both online and off. Had a nice non-linear feel to it (even if it was at times, it never really felt like it) and the atmosphere of the game was superb. Player movement in multiplayer felt good, and clearly drew in alot of adult (ie. non-bunnyhopping) gamers. I played with my workmates for a few months in Nam thanks to VC. I'd call it an action title done right. One of my favorite blasts from the past -I'll be picking that one up for sure. Woot!

The game will feature jungle combat similar to that in the first game along with a brand new 3D engine. Vietcong 2 will feature a new single player campaign and a variety of multiplayer modes. "The first Vietcong was a big success for us," said Christoph Hartmann, Senior Vice President of Publishing for 2K Games. "Almost two years after its initial release, there are still hundreds of servers and thousands of gamers playing Vietcong all day, every day. With Vietcong 2 we intend to give hardcore fans and newcomers alike an even bigger and better experience." Vietcong 2 should release on PC in late 2005.
