XE_Joker 0
I have a lighting question before I start on a map I blueprinted. Is it possible to cast colored glow from the floor as the light source for the map? My idea for this is an underground tunnel drain system where some baddies are storing radioactive biowaste for a future attack on the city above. I was hoping to make a "leaking" trail of biowaste down the tunnels to be the soul lighting. Unless that is too dark, then maybe a few wall lights every so many meters. It will be a dark CQB map. Just an idea for a first map. I'm a little tired of doing just skins, so it's time I tackled maps.
OSO 0
Yes. Just run the lighting tool. You can make lights any color you desire. You can also set a texture to have 100% self-illumination in the material editor. There is a sticky thread above that explains exactly how to use it if you don't "get it" in the pdf that accompanies the game.
