Dick Splash
DS Painted Electric Blue Nintendo announced today that it will be releasing a differently colored Nintendo DS in the U.S. Previously, four different colors have shipped in Japan (Black, White, Turquoise, and Pink, respectively). This new color, "Electric Blue", will be available with the regular model, named "Titanium", in June, and will apparently be a "permanent color in the DS palette". Nintendo also confirmed the release dates of two Nintendo DS titles in June. On June 13, Kirby: Canvas Curse will be avalible and feature touch-screen gameplay, letting the player draw paths for Kirby to roll on and do his thing. On June 27, the puzzle game Meteos will release, which lets players use the touch-screen to put falling meteors back into space. DS

Dick Splash
Strange, yet catchy "Touching is Good" Campaign Gets a Hand Nintendo's "Touching is Good" ad campaign for the Nintendo DS was strange enough when it first appeared, but Nintendo recently made things even weirder on the touchingisgood.com site by offering players an actual plastic hand to touch things with. It's an odd idea, but it quickly caught on with fans and helped spread the word about the Nintendo DS. Full Story DS
