No GR2 PC = $$$mistake IMO

I finally got my first taste of GR2 over the weekend...I had been avoiding my friends XBOX ....wanting to play it for the first time on the PC...Well..didnt seem a reason to wait anymore, so I gave it a go.

While not the game we all love and want...I do feel it was fun and playable. My buddy and I were enjoying it....and at times I felt the same thrill of COOP play of GR1. My biggest problem was that I really missed my mouse and nostromo.

I did not play single player..so I cannot comment on that part of the game.

I did not like not being able to select my kits until the mission had already started....and I hated the movies (like the bridge being blown up)

The first time through that mission....I stopped and turned around...just so I could watch the bridge blow...not knowing that it was a clip.....next time through..I went ahead while my buddy planted charges...was just zooming in on a baddie...when the CLIP took over..and turned me around to watch....when it was over...I turned back to find out that while I was being HELD...the enemies were free to keep moving...and I was being shot point blank range.

Not only does that keep you from moving ahead....but it also stops the fun of all the times you blow yourself up...or accidently drop a bridge on your buddies head.

But...bottomline on this whole thing...while not the game I want..and not the game I am hoping for in GR3 PC....it was a game that myself and 4 other members of SHADOW COMPANY would have purchased....you figure at $50 bucks a piece...and another $20 for at least 1 expansion...there is $350 that they are not getting...it may not have been game of the year...it might have gotten ripped apart in the MB's(its already getting that done anyway)...but it would have made millions.
