blakarion. 0
Having a try at Map Making, and its to the point of testing it for Multi-play / LAN. The Map works fine in Single-Play, its just when I have 3-4 players on it they one or two of them crash out when they first arrive on the Map. They see the Map, reticules etc then CTD. Im stumped as the Map is fine Single Player, and the Mod works fine on other Maps. Just the one Ive made has the problem. Anyone got any suggestions ???? HELP ! Papa6 88
I can take a guess or two.. One, if you have a version of your map with ANY difference from the one other peoples, they will crash.. Two, Could be a corrupt file in their version of the mod. I'd delete the .SHT file and redo the map in IGOR. What I mean above is, if you've made changes to the map mod and packaged it up and haven't given it to the others, I'd say that's your problem. They don't have the same version as you do. that is a big difference. if this is the problem, there's an easy fix; 1. if yours works fine, then redo another copy of the map from your copy into a .zip file. 2. tell those who have the bad versions to delete them and replace with this new version. This is all just a guess. I'm not there and this seems to be a problem I've had before.

blakarion. 0
Thanx guys but Its actually turned out to be a problem with the Mission file (would u believe it). Once I wiped the .miss file and started a new one we could all play it fine. Maybe actors where placed outside the playable area or something - this is a weird reason to knock some of the Players out of the game BUT thats th GR Engine for u Anyway, thanx for the"delete .sht" advice - had done that already (as a certain someone told me about many moon ago - the "Secret to Map Making" - thank for that breakthrough advice GRT)
