WytchDokta 6 Posted April 10, 2005 Share Posted April 10, 2005 Yesterday I went on a shopping spree.... firstly I had to get some accessories for my Sony Ericsson S700i mobile fone, then I hit the game stores.... I only went out with the intention to by the exopansion pack for Doom 3 but I ended up coming back with 5 (yes, 5!). Now I have something like 50 odd games in all (not all installed). So anyway, the games I got were: Doom 3: Ressurection of Evil What a great game this is, darker and harder than Doom 3. The Punisher A great game, it even has a flamethrower!! No game is complete without a shotgun or a flamethrower and this has both! Operation: Flashpoint Although RF2, OPF and OPF:RH were pre-owned, they work fine. I got this one in the pre-owned sectioned, IT COST ME ONLY £2.99!! Operation: Flashpoint - Red Hammer This cost me only £7.99 in the pre-owned section..... Red hammer updates the games to v1.30, I downloaded the 1.30->1.46 patch, went to install the patch but it keeps coming up with and error when trying to install the patch. Any ideas? Red Faction 2 Back to the old skool! Can't find a way out? Just blow a hole through the wall!! I've played all of them a little bit. I've probably played Resurrection of Evil the most though. Erm....do I gotta uninstall Red Hammer, then install the ultimate updates, then install Red Hammer? It says ultimate update 1 requires v1.00, but Red Hammer patches it to 1.30, AND, some of the new missions available in the ultimate upgrades become available when you install Red Hammer, and the official weapons add on pack, that's all included in my version of Red Hammer. WytchDokta 6 Posted April 10, 2005 Author Share Posted April 10, 2005 Finally, I have too many games for my shelf, I'm now having to lie them flat and stack them on top of the ones stood verticle. I don't really have much time for gaming ATM - I work away from home during the week, returning back home friday evenings, so, saturday and sunday is all I have. It could all change soon though, when I get transport sorted, then I can travel from home to work and back everyday. Oh and just because I got like 50 odd games, doesn't mean I'm a hardcore gamer.
