WytchDokta
The PC as we know it will become redundant in the home. ← But when? I hope many years from now, later rather than sooner.
BornToKill
Hmmm so we get GR2 PC in June (ish) (Q1 of this fiscal year) Then we get GR3 in December (ish). (as per the UBI recent Statement Q3 this fiscal year) Cant see the point in releasing 2 sequels in 6 months of each other.
Cobblers
Neither can I BTK, and I'm very doubtful of any release dates that UBi publish. Like I've said before, face it, if GR2 was coming to the PC, or at least in the very distant future, then I feel we would have had something confirmed about it by now. No company goes about marketing a product as UBI has done for GR2. But hey, at least we have the memories. I really loved GR1, it has to be my all time favourite game, on any platform, ever. Some people may never find that special experience that GR1 allowed me to have, what with the friends I have made through GR1, it makes that game priceless. I do not believe though that the PC will die out as a game machine. As long as Microsoft are pushing out PC's, then there will always be people who will buy them. Remember not everyone wants a console. It may take longer to get some games to be release, although I would imagine we will still have games that are tailor made for the PC for many years to come. BornToKill
I dont doubt that at all. Just over 5 weeks to wait.

jmcdonald
I think, if us PC gamers get GR2, we either won't get GR3 or have to wait about another 5-6 months after it's console release.
=SEALZ=MATRIX
Sorry I don't post more, but I found this thread interesting. After reading I thought back to what I noticed today when I stopped a GameSpot and EBGames. Both stores were soley dedicated to console games and had only 1 shelf for PC games. Most of the PC games were older and the stores had only a few of the new releases. The PC selection was about the same as I would find at Wal-Mart. Sad as it may seem, the money is in the console arena and that will force any developer to focus in that area. I, as all of you, are waiting for GR2. I just hope it comes out! I would hate not having a chance to play those GR2 maps which looked great. Let's have GR2 and we won't mind if we have to wait another year or so after GR3 is released for XBOX.
