ingeloop 8 Posted March 29, 2005 Share Posted March 29, 2005 hi everyone! i have this model of a rooivalk attack helicopter with a minigun under it´s nose. how can i make it work, or how can my scripter make it work. like the tanks firing their guns. it seems to move and follow the tangos but do not fire. is there someone that has a clue? /ingeloop Quote Link to post Share on other sites
SnowFella 8 Posted March 29, 2005 Share Posted March 29, 2005 Check with whoever that tagged it if the weapon helper is the ^WeaponFX0 or the ^WeaponFX1, if it's ^WeaponFX1 then the helo will only use it in the same fashion as a tanks main gun...^WeaponFX0 works as the MG on a tank. SnowFella 8 Posted March 29, 2005 Share Posted March 29, 2005 If it's tagged as ^WeaponFX0 and it still won't engage tangos it's most likely due to the set viewdistance, if the intended targets are out of the set visible range (set in the .env file if I remember right) the vehicle just won't see the target and will not engage it.
