Sup 0
http://biz.gamedaily.com/features.asp?arti...=feature&email= Videogames need to be CHEAPER! They need to get down to the $19.99 price point you ######ing morons! Damn. I do decently here at my job and fifty bucks is still too much of a barrier for me to spend as an impulse buy on a game. But... twenty! Sign me up! Perhaps if we focused on figuring out ways of growing our audience and making our games more accessible we'd sell more units and finally arrive at the magical new price point instead of shooting ourselves in the damned foot by RAISING PRICES? FOOLS!
Havok 30
Bah...all the good newer games already cost me $60 plus tax up here in Canada anyways. sigh
Sart 34
I got mixed feelings about it. On the one hand, $50 for a game is rather expensive, but on the other had when it last for 4 years (ala GR) it seems worth it.
pz3 338
this is a problem sart, how many games are that good thoe.... most of them i buy last for a month, or a couple..... GR 45$ playing it still for 3 years. farcry was great it came out at 40$ was happy next gen graphics, good price, fun gameplay..... played it for about a month ... it was alright. (exluding the oe mod) 40$ joint ops lasted 3 months amazingly enough. worth the money for the time. still play it occasionally Then i spent 55$ on HL2 , Single player was fun has almost no replay value thoe played it for 2 weeks and havent touched it since, really Edited March 19, 2005 by Prozac360
KRP 56 92
I usually have to wait until the price drops way down before I buy but out of the few games I've bought at the original price only GR has been worth every penny I spent on it. $50 and more is way to much to pay for games that offer little if any replayability and that's most of them. snared_gambit 0
I'm with KRP, I almost always have to wait at least three or four months to buy a game I desperately want so the price can drop to $40 or $30. Either that, or I get the parents to but them (very rare occasion, though I managed to pull it off with Devil May Cry 3), or I wait until christmas and birthdays. Usually the last option, as I'm kind of low on money.
