Features -------- Log Joining Players names with thier IP Addresses. Optionally log nade users. In Dedicated mode ghostrecon is restarted on crash. Kick/Ban/ICMP Ping Players at any time in the game. Wildcard ban players host names ie: *.dialup.net. Remote HTTP Access to Logger Features. (Protected By Username/Password) Change Mod Settings Auto Archive Replays and Missionstats (make sure that gr options set to record games) Compresses Archived Replays and stats file using PKZIP. Edit ban.txt via HTTP Remote Access. This means, again the program is updated, it is now 2.2.0.40 replaces 2.2.0.39 Download it here Changes in this version: *Time zone problem fixed. Thanks ghostaholics for this contribution to the gr community. It is really appreciated by all of us running servers out there. One last possible idea. would it be possible to make a white list? For example i have a range banned do to people from an isp (aol) hacking the server. There is however a non hacker who can't join our server because of this. With a white list to allow a certain ip, or ranges access would be very helpful. Also could you add the date and time to the replays? Just a few thoughts. Thanks again for this great tool!!! I have one suggestion If you could put in a Player name check.Say if I range ban *.bellsouth.net to keep a known hacker/cheater away this could also effect known clean players. If you could have an "exceptions list" set by the server admin that allows certain Players names from that banned IP range through. So you'd need say another text/xml file (your exceptions list) something like <*.bellsouth.net> JohnDoe_SRS TAW_BornToKill Joe Bloggs_CD </*bellsouth.net> This would allow Those entered players names in only from that ISP Range. There would be a text file with similar entries to that of ban file except these host names/addresses would be allowed. ie: ban file:- *.aol.com except file:- host23-123-23.aol.com Result:- This would ban everyone from aol except host23-123-23.aol.com I dont really want to get into player name stuff, seeing as GR2 may be round the next but one corner And ppl can always fake game names, so it would be a lot of work for something that could be bypassed.
