HOW TO MAKE A MP SERVER SKIN MOD?

A noob entering modding world.......

Hello, ive read the skin tutorial by Ruin ( i think u guys r doin a great job by helpin us noobs out! ) and i gotta say it LOOKS very easy. Well converting to rsb's, the black wool thing worked fine......and thats where it stopped......

Perhaps i should explain what i want to do, see if it is even possible.

I want a skin which is server sided ( i host most of the times 1.0.0.2 version Dalton clan) and i want to be able to choose a funny skin 4 my team. ( any of u know the commic books of lucky luke....lol cause thats where im going.)

Now i want a skin for demolition, rifleman, sniper, support. all of these skins have to be server sided only, and i want to be able to have the new skins 4 my team.

Weapons they should be the same as the regular gr weapons, but i want a modded sniperrifle-kit : the svd (dragunov) with a silencer, an oicw gun instead of the silenced pistol.

Dont get me wrong the sniper pistol doesnt have to look like an oicw but just have the same rate of fire, accuracy, velocity and so on.

how do i make such a mod from scratch .....if its possible.

Can someone take me by the hand and walk true this ###### step by step... at the speed of a one year old who just learned how to walk?

well no skins k, but ive played in rooms where they had a pistol, well that was like an oicw machine gun, looked like a pistol though!

howbout making a silenced dragunov gun ( svd) with a gun that looks like a pistol but has the same properties like an oicw?? (1.0.0.2 version)

how do i do that?

You saying make a pistol sniper rifle that goes full auto? If so why would you want that? Thats like something youd see in DA4.9.

i already made a kit a dragunov with as , 2nd gun an mp5sd instead of a pistol , it doesnt show the texture of the mp5sd cause i saved it as the sniper-02.kit but i now have an svd (dragunov) sniperrifle and as a 2nd weapon an mp5sd instead of a pistol.

i just made a new kit with igor, and saved it as the sniper-02.kit. works fine when i host mp as well!

Ahh, yea thats possible because its serverside. If you were to make a kit icon(the picture where it shows what gun you have) then the other people would have to download that .rsb file.

But yes you can take guns and combine them with different guns to make new kits and it will work in MP.

But now......can i use such ( or make) a kit, and use it even when some one else hosts???

Ive once downloaded a patch its called GR CLOSETIME 136, this takes away the delay when reloading ur launcher.

And this works, even when i do not host.
