TheoRetiKule
Quote:"..found it was an exe file when unzipped." I hate when that happens.Same thing just happened to me with Sixpence's 101st Airborne. For a mac-friendly version of Cold CallOut try Macgamingmods.com ← Billy, Vir2l, richmondskin, anyone... Where did you put your unstuffed ColdCallout file so that GR "sees" it as a mod? Dropping it in the usual Data / Mods location, alongside Frostbite and everything else, didn't work, and I couldn't see a ReadMe file with any other info. Or does it need to be renamed without {brackets} for Mac purposes? Cheers! - Theo
richmondskin
i just dropped it into my mods folder and it worked like a charm but thats cuz i had to start using my old PC since the old lady destroyed my imac before she split. youre using apple right? cuz if you cant find anything off of the site mentioned in previous threads....ill see about taking my existing folder and zip it up for you. Pfarrer
Is there a Mac-loadable version of Cold Call Out anywhere? Just d/l'd it via the downloads page on the front of gr.net and found it was a .exe file when it unzipped... Theo ← I installed Virtual PC to grab mods packaged as .exe files. Works pretty well. Suspect it's something to do with the unzipping as it is... Any luck with this mod in the meantime - or are you still on ops elsewhere? richmondskin
if i can get permission from the creators, ← You don't need permission from the creators of Frostbite to make mods that require Frostbite installed to run. ← this is true...after i had posted about getting permission i sent you an email and you wrote something similar... The_Slink
Hehe. Looks like that slipped under the Richmond Radar. So how's it going? Doing anything on this or the (vastly) more interesting SANDF mod?
richmondskin
once the awesome SANDF mod gets finished, i am running off with cindy comely, mate. never to mod again. instead she and i are going to raise lions to throw hackers to.
richmondskin
seriously, once the SANDF mod comes out, i will finish the last 2 missions of Operation Frigid Panther. i had hoped to get my hands on quite a few maps for OFP, but i will leave the mission count at 13 maybe 14 using maps i already have, and use the other winter maps for another possible FBish mod. but we will see. i have so many projects going on at the moment its scary. then again, whats one more mod added to the ongrowing list(hee hee i'm clever)!?
