I have been using GR for a while, and have the 1.4 version installed. I"ve tried several Mods, and the kits and characters all work fine. However, when I try to start a campaign that comes with the Mod, I get some sort of crash, and the desktop apears. I am not sure as to why this is. But I have not been able to play any of the campaigns that came with several mods, and They sound So awesome (Besides, one can play the original campaign only so many times...maybe not...)

I am having problems when I tried to play the campaigns for Frostbite (v1.3) and Free rusia. I had this problem before, however, I don't remember which mods they were (Old computer).

I figured that FB and Free russia "should" work fine... But when I try to play the campaign, the programs crashes. I tried a couple of things. FOr one thing, I am running only the one mod at the time. I made sure I had the latest version of the mod and GR (which I do), and I tried starting various campaigns (In case a file was corrupted?). I also re-installed the mods and updates a few times.. But I still get the CTD. Now I also get it in the 1st infantry campaign..

If anyone has any ideas, please share. as I said. I'm not sure what else I could do.

didnt mean to sound so stupid with that comment about FB not working...i should have elaborated more. what i should have said was that FB 1.3 works with everything activated and that is why it should work fine...then i should have said this could be one of those times when a computer wants to act hardheaded...

the IKE log would be a great start to see what the dilly, mate.

Go back into your program files and open your RSE GR folder and you'll see the IKE log, then just copy and paste it here. Ask away with questions about GR. The more you ask the more you can learn about how GR works. I don't think any question no matter how simple is stupid. If you don't know theres someone here that may have the answer. ;)
