VBS1_Anims (Keldyn) is available over @ VBS Resources

I have repackaged the original installer .exe version as a .ZIP and uploaded it to the VBS Resources site.

Updated 28th February 2005, with new patrol animations.

Launch "Anims.bat" to run VBS1 with these new animations.

Thank you for downloading my animation pack, i spent a very lot of time to create them and to link them with smooth interpolations.

Maybe not as perfect as i would want to have made them (as i was only using OFPAnim , and not Maya/3D studio Max or any motion capture utility) , i hope you will enjoy them.

The updated 1.1 version fixed a problem, the sight was not exactly where it should be (under the eye normally, in the previous version, i had not noticed that the sight was not exactly where it needed to be)

The updated 1.2 version was supposed to correct the length of the upper body while proning, as something disturbing visually was going on there, but testing in depth showed that the correction was in fact worse, so instead of relaesing a worse pack i decided to make some touches here and there to some interpolation animations.

But not enough to worth a release. So it was not released.

The updated 1.3 version replaced the previous jog and sprint animations but , in my opinion better ones , but some people maybe would prefer the more classic 1.1 ones.

Dreamy Knight additional animation "stood and run.rtm" was modified to fit the sprint animation (correcting the "bumpy" feeling) and more tweaks and modifications on it has been done to obtain a very satisfying jog animation

The updated 1.4 version is a major rework of the previous pack , featuring extensive hours of rework and loss of sleep.

-fixed deformation of the forearm when playing the complex jogging or running animations

-fixed deformation of the upper body when being prone (and so interpolations starting/ending from it), was not as easy as i thought, but finally it is done.

-Complete rework of all the interpolations animations , more frames by interpolations, less robotic (several long , very long nightly hours spent on this, need to sleep now).

-New crouch and prone animation (and the animations starting/ending to them)with full interpolation with the other stances

-Squashed several really annoying small bugs.

Should be hopefully my final release , unless i overlooked something.

The updated 1.5 version was meant as a bug fix for some errors that were reported from 1.4 that i never noticed myself before. But it ended in more than a simple bug fix, as mostly everything in each animations frames has been touched, new smooth interpolations have been made for new animations, attenuation of some BIS interpolation to fit better my static stances, several static animations tweaked, briefly it is a complete rework, forget 1.4 (or compare ingame with it to see how much horrible 1.4 is now).

Lots of hours of works have been spent to what should be really final this time, as i will not update it unless there is a problem somewhere that my tests not showed to me.

This Anim.pbo can potentially make your computer to explode and transform you into a shrimp

So if you are afraid of having your computer to explode or being transformed into a shrimp, do not install this Anim.pbo, i will reject any responsability in your sad fate, you are warned.

Tested and working very well on my end (without having my computer to explode or being now a shrimp).

You are totally allowed to modify what you want in this pack without having to ask me before.

If you decide to ask me if you can use or modifiy anything from this pack, there are some chances your computer will explode or you will be transformed into a shrimp in the near future.

Some of the included animations (the ones with the weapon on the back) are modified Dreamy Knight animations to fix what disturbed me visually in his animations, all the other are mine or BIS.
