WytchDokta 6
I just got Splinter Cell. I have installed it, but when I fire it up I get this error message: General protection fault! History: Apparently it is something to do with Splinter Cell not liking GeForce graphics cards. I have found and downloaded the fix for it. Now to see if it works.... WhiteKnight77 1
What version are your drivers? The ReadMe even states to use 41.09 drivers.
WytchDokta 6
The fix i got has 43.00 version drivers. But the setup for the 43.00 won't work. I get an errror saying something like: Cannot copy file nvwcplen.hlp That file doesn't come in the download, and it's not already on my computer. So now what do I do? Also where can I check what version drivers I have? Edited March 2, 2003 by -[NCM]- .:Nightmare:.
NurFACE 0
There are several ways to check drivers. I suggest go to start/run/type dxdiag then enter/DirectX Diagnostic Tool programs runs then look for tab for display. The details for driver are listed on the right side.
